Meet our wonderful community of creative collaborators at Our Yard.
Ischer Dhiman
Artist
I am a London-based, award-winning mixed media artist, arts facilitator, and Associate Lecturer at the London College of Fashion with two decades of experience. My journey has been deeply rooted in facilitating art workshops, providing participants with opportunities to explore their creativity while nurturing mental and emotional balance.
Specialising in wet media, particularly watercolours and inks, my work embraces the fluidity and spontaneity of these materials, fostering self-expression and deep connection.
Over the years, I have collaborated with fashion magazines, charities, and leading institutions such as the Royal Academy of Arts, the Wellcome Collection, Kew Gardens, and London Fashion Week, while also building an extensive portfolio of private commissions.
My goal is to inspire positive social change and champion art as a powerful tool for self-discovery, healing, and celebration.
Jenny Lawy
Stay n Play Facilitator
Hi I am an anthropologist, secondary school Geogrpahy teacher, a mum of one, a widow and a firm believer in the healing power of education and being outdoors.
There is so much creativity that is unlocked when kids are given a space and some time. I have always loved the outdoors and know of the healing humans get being in the air, under trees, and hearing the birds in the sky.
This is how Little Critters was born - to open the space to young kids and their carers, to enjoy a relaxing time together outside, come rain or shine!
I hope through Little Critters more adults and children can unlock and live even more fully in line with themselves.
My vision for the Farm is that it provides outdoor education at all levels, early years to adult. Let's make it happen!
Vladanka Manceva
Pressed Flower Artist
I create traditionally slow pressed flower artwork, using flowers, leaves, grasses and weeds. I grow lots of flowers but I am in love with weeds essential for wildlife and beautiful as everything else, they symbolise nostalgia, wilderness and rebelliousness.
My background is holistic therapy and I am passionate in creating beautiful art using holistic approach. All flowers are sustainably collected and pressed by me. The pressing process is long but rewarding and I only use flower presses and books. Every piece I make is unique and mindfully put together with lots of love, so the process is very delicate and time consuming but gratifying at the end.
All cards and frames are mounted to high quality and they make perfect original gift.
Barbara Mansi
Mosaic Artist
Barbara Mansi is a self-taught mosaic artist from Italy, now based in the UK. Influenced by her Mediterranean heritage, she creates vibrant, intricate mosaics using glass, tiles, marble, and stones. Her work, described as “painting with tiles,” reflects the world’s infinite shapes and is often inspired by mythical and mystical creatures.
Mansi’s creations range from wall art to 3D sculptures, blending rich colours and textures. She shares her passion through workshops for beginners and intermediates, emphasizing the therapeutic and creative aspects of mosaics.
Her work has been exhibited in various galleries, including a solo show at The Fountain Gallery in 2021, showcasing her artistic journey.
Laura’s Pours
Acrylic Artist
Hi I'm Laura, maker of free-spirited art for colourful souls, aka Laura's Pours!
I started acrylic pouring as a new mum and exhausted nurse in the aftermath of lockdown, rediscovering myself through art. It frees me from perfectionism and allows me to "go with the flow" (literally!), often with unexpected and beautiful results.
Expressing yourself freely with colours is amazingly therapeutic and fun. My favourite attendees are those who say "I haven't got a creative bone in my body!" - they always surprise themselves by creating something fabulous, and enjoying the process.
I hope my art sparks your colourful imagination, and inspires you to discover the joy of acrylic pouring with me!
Candide Simard
Pine Needle Weaver
I make baskets with pine needles, this kind of weaving is more often seen in North America, but I learned it while living in... Fiji!
In the Pacific, weaving is a living art, people make beautiful mats, baskets and bags, usually using pandanus leaves (voivoi), and sometimes banana leaves.
Pine needle weaving uses a different technique, coiling and stitching. It all started when I collected the broken branch of a pine tree after a big cyclone and took it home, just because it smelled nice. The coiling gesture is meditative and calming, and you can soon be creative.
It is very sustainable, makes you pay attention to nature in a different way.
I also love experimenting with mixing pottery and weaving.

What Our Collaborators say…
“I cannot express enough how much the project and all those involved have helped me. I wouldn't be at the stage I am at now if it wasn't for the support, guidance and encouragement this amazing place has given me. I hope the project continues to be available for the benefit of the community indefinitely.”
— Lisa Montgomery of Lisa Ferments
“I enjoy being part of the ‘Clitterhouse Collective’ along with other workshop facilitators, creatives and volunteers at the farm - we collaborate, share ideas, encourage and support each other both personally and professionally. Thanks to the opportunities I have been given and the nurturing environment at Clitterhouse farm, my art hobby has grown into a small business which brings me a real sense of fulfilment.”
